(Head Office: Koto-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Chikara Ishii), a sales partner of our consent management platform "Trust 360", has been adopted by The Vision for a Digital Garden City Nation project, which aims to "Realization of migration without changing jobs by utilizing a disaster-resistant network" in Shirahama Town, Wakayama Prefecture, and "Trust 360" has been installed in the website.
Shirahama Town in Wakayama Prefecture (hereinafter referred to as "Shirahama Town") aims to attain "migration without changing jobs by utilizing a disaster-resistant network" as part of the grant project for The Vision for a Digital Garden City Nation, and has implemented various digital-related measures such as attracting IT companies, promoting workcations, and conducting demonstration experiments of disaster-resistant networks with the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (hereinafter referred to as "NICT").
Through this subsidy project, the demonstration test environment of this network set up by NICT will be shifted to a fully operational environment equipped with a satellite communication system as a backup in case of carrier line interruption, and a safe and secure work environment will be rebuilt by installing new base stations and strengthening Wi-Fi areas, with a view to network expansion and new disaster prevention information transmission methods in the town, to promote the expansion of the population involved and beyond that, migration without job change.
Shirahama Town is also looking at developing data-based measures such as acquiring and analyzing data on user reactions and trends in increasing the relevant population, and increasing satisfaction with Shirahama Town by understanding and realizing latent demand.
Consent must be obtained for the acquisition and use of users' personal data, and consent must be given not only to those subject to Japanese domestic law, but also to inbound subjects who are expected to recover in the future, in compliance with the regulations (*GDPR).
