This is the company's first raising funds through an external capital increase.

In April 2022, the Amended Act on Protection of Personal Information came into effect, requiring companies to obtain prior consent from users when acquiring external data via cookies and linking it to personal information. In addition, the Amended Telecommunications Business Act of Japan was enacted in June 2022. All companies that use the Internet for business are now required to utilize personal data while protecting privacy.
Given this background, "privacy tech," a system that balances the use of personal data and the protection of privacy, has been attracting significant interest.
Priv Tech, which has consistently supported privacy measures since its establishment in 2020, has decided to raise funds to strengthen further and accelerate privacy measures for companies in response to the rapid changes in the market.
